This is another story of my youth. They make me smile and proud to have been the child that I was.

Ever since I can remember, I loved my room. Small though it was, I loved it. The walls were a light blue, and the carpet was just a deeper shade. When I would get upset, I'd storm to my room and flop myself onto my bed, staring up at my white ceiling. I'd breathe d-e-e-e-e-p and close my eyes, counting to ten.  
 
The ceiling isn't your ceiling. It's a wall of cloud above your head.  
The carpet isn't your carpet. It's a swell of ocean, calm.

A ConfessionIt’s weird, not having any friends.  
 
 
 
It’s funny.  
 
I call so many ‘friend’… and yet, I know so little about them. People I love. And care about.  
 
When I take a step back and look at things,  they are all closer to each other than I am to any of them.  
 
I have no best friend. Here. In my Waking Life.  
 
I don’t really have any friends, here.
