All it takes is trust and a little bit of pixie dust.

...4,000 is smaller.

Obama decided to send 17,000 military personnel to Afghanistan.

8,000 marines.
5,000 "support staff".
4,000 army personnel.


My oldest brother Brian is one of only 4,000 army service men/women getting shipped to Afghanistan.

November 8th of 2008 he was sent to Germany, for what he was told would be about 3 years. He was working as an administrator over computers in a hospital. He missed my wedding.
He was told only the other day he had to go to Afghanistan.

Oh Muffy,that's just....talk about rotten luck.
I don't know what to tell you, only that, I pray the rotten luck was only that of sending him in the middle east and that the true luck, the good luck, will keep him safe.
You know, kinda like: "Every bad thing (Afghanistan)has a good thing (comes home safe and sound)."
